Agonopterix is a moth genus of the superfamily Gelechioidea. It is placed in the subfamily Depressariinae, which is often particularly in older treatments considered a distinct family Depressariidae or included in the Elachistidae, but actually seems to belong in the Oecophoridae.[1]
