Agnes Hiorth

Agnes Hiorth (1899–1984) was a Norwegian painter.

Biography

Agnes Hiorth was born in Kristiania. She studied with painters Pola Gauguin, Axel Revold and Georg Jacobsen, and is known for her landscapes and portraits. The National Gallery of Norway owns eight of her works, including a self-portrait, portraits and landscapes. Her portrait of King Haakon VII is located in the Oslo City Hall, and of Crown Prince Olav in Oslo Militære Samfund.[1][2]
