Agis Ioannis Kitsikis

Agis Ioannis Kitsikis is senior treaty underwriter, vice president, reinsurance property & specialty underwriting with Swiss Re and vice president of the Dimitri Kitsikis Public Foundation. Born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 26th of September 1979, he has three nationalities, Greek, French and Canadian. He first worked in Zurich and now is posted in Toronto.

He belongs to a famous Greek family. His grandfather was Nicolas Kitsikis and his father is Dimitri Kitsikis. He got a Ph.D. in Astrophysics , in 2008 from Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Munich, Germany and in the same year became vice president of his father’s Public Foundation in Athens, Greece, as well as joining Swiss Re.

He went through the Lycée Claudel of the French Government, in Ottawa, Canada, obtaining the French Baccalauréat, as well as through the Lycée Franco-Hellénique in Athens, Greece and the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in Ankara Turkey. He got his B.A in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Ottawa and his M.Sc. in Physics from the Univesrsity of Montreal.
