Agago is a town in Northern Uganda. It is the chief political, administrative and commercial center in Agago District. The district is named after the town.
Location
Agago is located approximately 75 kilometres (47 mi), by road, southeast of Kitgum, the nearest large town.[1] This location lies approximately 135 kilometres (84 mi), by road, east of Gulu, the largest city in the sub-region.[2] The coordinates of the town are:2°49'59.0"N, 33°20'24.0"E (Latitude:2.833050; Longitude:33.340000).
