After Hours is the second solo album released by singer and producer Linda Perry, released in 1999.^[1]

Review

Linda Perry in her album, After Hours, tries to make new approaches like the electronically changed voice in "Get It While You Can". Some find her rock-styled "Somedays Never End" a little off-key with a clumsy lyrics.^[2]

The number, "Lost Command", however, tries to redeem the album with supposedly messages of love and religion.^[2]

"New Dawn" does well with Perry working with Donna Simon on the vocals, perfectly matching the piano piece. In "Fly Away", Perry exudes confidence in rendering an intoxicating quality to her stentorian voice. What truly distinguishes Perry in After Hours is her brilliant rendition of the number "Carry On", reminding the listeners of the Latin American life.^[2]
