African Lyon is a football club in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. They play in the top level of Tanzanian professional football, the Tanzanian Premier League. The club has recently been purchased by Landing Zone Enterprises.
History
The club was founded on 14 June 2000 as Mbagara Market F.C. from Jamal Kisongo.[1] After the releagation in November 2009 the club named Charles Boniface Mkwassa as the new Head Coach[2] and loaned several players include Razack Khalfan, Vincent Barnabas, Ulimboka Mwakingwe, Meshack Abel George Nyanda and Adam Kingwande.
