Africa Magic

Africa Magic is a 24-hour African-entertainment-flavored network that comprises of 5 independent channels on M-Net.[1] The network was launched in South Africa in July 2004 and currently broadcast in more than 40 African countries.[2] The channels includes Africa Magic Family, Africa Magic World, Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Yoruba, Africa Magic Swahili, Africa Magic Igbo, Africa Magic Hausa and Africa Magic Urban, with some available to only premium subscribers.[3] Africa Magic are also responsible for the live coverage of the annual Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, which is one of the biggest film awards in Africa. In March 2015, Africa Magic took over control from Channel O after it was shut down by Multichoice on 31st.[4][5]
