Afghanistan in the ABU TV Song Festival
Afghanistan have participated in the ABU TV Song Festival twice. The Afghan broadcaster, Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA), has been the organiser of the Afghan entry since the country's debut in the contest in 2012.[1]
History
RTA is one of the founder members in the ABU TV Song Festivals, having participated in the very first ABU TV Song Festival 2012.[1]
Withdrawal
Afghanistan was not present on the final participation list that was published by the ABU. The reasons for withdrawal from the ABU TV Song Festival 2014 are unknown.[2]
