"Affair of the Heart" is a rock song performed by pop singer Rick Springfield. It was released as the lead single from his album Living in Oz.
The song entered the Billboard Top 40 chart on April 23, 1983 and peaked at number 9.[1] It was the fourth of Springfield's five Top 10 hits to date.[1]
"Affair of the Heart" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1984, but lost to "Beat It" by Michael Jackson.[2]
In popular culture
- ABC Television used an instrumental bit from this song as the background music for its 1984 logo.
