Aegires is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Aegiridae. Members of the species in this genus feed exclusively on calcareous sponges.[2][4] Images of the radula can be seen in this reference.[5]
Aegires is the type genus and the only genus in the family Aegiridae.[3]
