Aechmea tayoensis is a species of plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is endemic to the Moreno-Santiago region of Ecuador.[1][2] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[3]
Aechmea tayoensis is listed as endangered due to habitat loss.[4]
