The Admiral William Brown Cup is contested between Argentina and Ireland at rugby union and the first match was played on 16 November 2012 at Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
The trophy is named in memory of the Irish-Argentine Navy admiral, William Brown. This is a joint initiative between the Embassy of Argentina, Dublin, the Embassy of Ireland, Buenos Aires, the Argentine Rugby Union and the Irish Rugby Football Union.
