Adarsha Vidyalaya, is an English medium school located in Sahakar Nagar, Shell Colony, Chembur. It is run by the 'Kerala Peoples Education Society (KPES)' and was established in 1958. The school is one of the few Mumbai schools that offer Malayalam as a subject in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination. Tamil is offered as a subject till standard 7th. Urdu is also taught in the school. English is a compulsory language for the students to speak in the school premises.
