Adam O'Brien (born 11 July 1993) is a professional rugby league player who is currently contracted to the Bradford Bulls of the RFL Championship

Adam hails from Halifax and is a product of the Bulls Junior Development system. His favoured position is at Hooker.

2010 - 2010 Season

Adam featured in the pre-season game against Dewsbury Rams. O'Brien was not selected in any league or cup matches this season. At the end of the 2010 season he was given a 3-year professional contract.

2011 - 2011 Season

O'Brien featured in three of the four pre-season friendlies. He played against Halifax RLFC, Dewsbury Rams and Keighley Cougars.

Adam made his Super League debut in Round 5 (Huddersfield Giants), however he was not selected until Round 24 (Hull KR) and played until Round 27 (Wakefield Trinity Wildcats). He did feature in the Challenge Cup game against Halifax RLFC.

2012 - 2012 Season

O'Brien featured in three of the four pre-season friendlies. He played against Castleford Tigers, Dewsbury Rams and Hull FC.

Adam featured in Round 19 (Wigan Warriors) to Round 21 (Leeds Rhinos). He signed a 5 Year Extension to his contract mid-way through the season.

2013 - 2013 Season

O'Brien featured in the pre-season friendlies against Dewsbury Rams and Leeds Rhinos.

He featured in Round 5 (Huddersfield Giants) and then in Round 7 (Hull KR). Adam also featured in Round 10 (Salford City Reds) and Round 17 (Hull KR). His next appearance was in Round 25 (Castleford Tigers) to Round 27 (Huddersfield Giants). O'Brien featured in the Challenge Cup against Rochdale Hornets. He scored against Huddersfield Giants (1 try).

2014 - 2014 Season

O'Brien featured in the pre-season games against Hull FC and Castleford Tigers.

He featured in Round 1 (Castleford Tigers) to Round 14 (Catalan Dragons) then in Round 16 (Salford Red Devils) to Round 27 (London Broncos). Adam featured in Round 4 (Oldham Roughyeds) to the Quarter Final (Warrington Wolves) in the Challenge Cup. He scored against Wakefield Wildcats (1 try), Huddersfield Giants (2 tries), Oldham Roughyeds (1 try), Salford Red Devils (1 try) and Hull KR (1 try).

O'Brien re-signed with the Bulls for another 2 Years despite their relegation to the RFL Championship for the 2015 season.

2015 - 2015 Season

O'Brien featured in the pre-season friendlies against Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos.

He featured in Round 1 (Leigh Centurions) to Round 10 (Doncaster RLFC). He also featured in the Challenge Cup in Round 4 (Workington Town) to Round 5 (Hull KR).. He scored against Leigh Centurions (2 tries), Featherstone Rovers (1 try), Hunslet Hawks (2 tries), London Broncos (1 try) and Hull KR (1 try).

Dewsbury Rams

O'Brien was dual registered with Dewsbury Rams for the 2013 season. He featured against Doncaster RLFC, Featherstone Rovers, Hunslet Hawks (twice), Whitehaven RLFC (twice), York City Knights (twice), Workington Town (twice), Sheffield Eagles (twice), Keighley Cougars (twice), Halifax RLFC (twice) and Swinton Lions. He scored against Doncaster RLFC (2 tries), York City Knights (2 tries), Swinton Lions (1 try), Sheffield Eagles (1 try) and Halifax RLFC (1 try).

Senior international career

England Academy O'Brien appeared as an interchange in a victory against France U18 in June 2010 and in both tests against the Australian Schoolboys in December 2010, England Academy won the series 2-0 with both games being played at Leigh Sports Village.

Adam is the younger brother of the association football (soccer) player, Luke O'Brien.
