ADD International (ADD), is a UK-based international development charity working in Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Through their support to their direct partners in India (ADD India), ADD's work spans a total of 9 countries.

ADD was founded in 1985 by Chris Underhill, who formerly founded Thrive and went on to found BasicNeeds.

Activities

ADD works as an ally of disabled people's organisations (DPOs) in Africa and Asia to promote the inclusion and basic rights of disabled people.

ADD has a wide variety of projects ranging from advocacy-based projects through to the provision of livelihood opportunities for disabled people. They also offer indirect support by training teachers, government officials, and religious leaders, in how to raise awareness of the issues faced by disabled people.
