Actinodaphne molochina is a species of plant in the Lauraceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
4-6 in a whorl, variable, usually small, broadly obovate-oval, acute ends, beneath rufous tomentose, stiff, lateral veins arched.
Trunk
Bark - whitish; branchlets stout; young parts rufous tomentose.
Flowers
brownish yellow; Inflorescence - small, axillary clusters or umbels.
Fruits
globose, pointed drupe; persistent perianth.
Ecology
montane forest subcanopy.
