Actinodaphne albifrons is a species of plant in the Lauraceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
opposite or in 3's, large, elliptic, acute base, acuminate apex, 3 veins at base, 4 pairs of flush covered with long white hairs.
Trunk
Bark - thick, smooth, gray to light brown; branchlets minutely tomentose.
Flowers
Inflorescence - yellowish brown, axillary clusters, tomentose.
Fruits
ovoid drupe with shallowly cup-shaped persistent perianth.
Ecology
montane and rain forest subcanopy.
