Acropora digitifera is a species of acroporid coral from the indo-pacific.

Description

This coral is a digitate coral, with an elongated terminal corallite and often a blue tip. It looks like Acropora humilis but is smaller, with branching finger-like lobes.

Distribution

This coral can be found in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the southwest and northern Indian Ocean, the central Indo-Pacific, Australia, southeast Asia, Japan, the East China Sea and the west Pacific Ocean. It is also found in the Pitcairn Islands.

It is found in shallow tropical back margins of reefs, from depths of 0–12 m.
