Acosmeryx sericeus is a moth of the Sphingidae family.[2] It was described by Walker in 1856, and is known from Nepal, north-eastern India, Bangladesh, Thailand, southern China, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia.

The wingspan is 96–106 mm. In Hong Kong, adults are on wing from March to December, with a peak from June to September. There are multiple generations per year.[3]
