Acer Aspire 4920G Laptop with an Acer Aspire M1800 Desktop

Aspire is a series of personal computers by Acer Inc. aimed at the casual household user or for small business use. The Aspire competed with Dell Inspiron, HP Pavilion and Toshiba Satellite. The Aspire series covers both desktop computers and laptops. Acer developed the series to range from essentials to high performance.[1]

The Aspire series was first brought to the market in 1999 when the Aspire 1151 was introduced at the price of $1500.00 and featured a 200 MHz Intel Pentium. The Aspire series then replaced the AcerPower series in 2002 and became one of Acer's main series.

Aspire Switch Tablets

Acer Aspire Switch is a series of 2-in-1 tablet computers running Windows 8, with a tablet and detachable keyboard sold together.

Aspire Switch 10

Acer Aspire Switch 10, was announced in April 2014. It's a 10.1-inch 2-in-1, with a 1366x768 resolution and Intel Atom Z3745 processor. A second generation Acer Aspire Switch 10 was then launched in October 2014. It was given a different resolution of 1280x800, and a different Intel Atom Z3735F processor.

Aspire Switch 11

Acer Aspire Switch 11 was announced in September 2014, as a larger 11.6-inch version, that will be released in November. There are two models of the Acer Aspire Switch 11. An Acer Aspire Switch 11 SW5-111 with an Intel Atom Z3735 processor, 2GB RAM, and 1366x768 resolution. And an Acer Aspire Switch 11 SW5-171 with an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, and 1920x1080 resolution.

Aspire laptop models

Many of the Aspire laptops, such as model 8920G, have built in Blu-ray drives, 5.1 audio outputs and Transflective displays. Acer was the first to include these drives in laptops. Most Aspire laptops have water resistant screens, such as the 1410 and the 5741 Z

Aspire One

Acer Aspire One is a line of Aspire subcompact notebooks (netbooks) similar to Asus EEE.

Aspire 5738

Acer Aspire 5738 is a dual-booting (Android and MS-Windows)[2] 3D laptop, which includes Dynamic Digital Depth TriDef software.[3][4]

The Acer Aspire 5738PG computer also includes the Acer multi-touch technology.[5][6]

Aspire Ultrabooks

The Acer Aspire P3 is an 11.6-Inch IPS LCD Textured Titanium-Aloy maid Ultrabook with an Intel Core i3-3229Y 1.4 GHz processor for i3 Models and Intel Core i5-3329Y 1.5 GHz processor for i5 Models, 128 GB Solid State Drive, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity in just 9.9 mm thin profile and a 2 or 4 GB of RAM. It also manage to get one ventalation fan inside to cool the ultrabook when it is heavily used. This ultrabook is on Top 5 Hybrid Convertible Laptop of 2013 by TechRadar.com

The Acer Aspire S3 is a 13.3-Inch Ultrabook with an Intel Core 1.6 GHz processor, 320 GB hard drive, a media card reader.[7] Moreover it has an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000-chip and four gigabytes of RAM.[8] Overall, the Ultrabook weighs 2.98 pounds.

The Acer Aspire S5 is a 13.3-Inch Ultrabook, which the company says is the world's thinnest Ultrabook.[9] It is just 15mm-thick and so two millimeters thinner than the MacBook Air.[10] It weighs 2.97 pounds and includes an Intel Ivy Bridge processor, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, SSD storage for speed and increased shock resistance plus professionally tuned Dolby® Home Theater® v4.

Aspire desktop models

The AcerPower S series was replaced by the Aspire desktop series in 2002. The AcerPower S Series consisted of 2 types: the AcerPower Se Series and the AcerPower Sn Series desktop. As of April 2010 Acer offers the following desktop Aspire models, grouped into four model lines:[11]
