The Abyssinian genet (Genetta abyssinica) is a species of genet, a carnivore in the family Viverridae. It is also known as the Ethiopian genet.[2] It is native to Africa, where it is found in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, and Djibouti.[2]
This species occurs in several habitat types, including coastal plains, Afromontane grasslands, and mountain moorlands. Little is known about the species, but it is likely uncommon.[2]
