Abner Dieujuste

Abner Dieujuste is a Haitian-American author, poet and professor.

Early life

Dieujuste was born on the island of Haiti inheriting in his blood a rich culture, full of life and breathtaking ambiance. This picturesque island, with its plush green mountains and colorful array of flowers, was a backdrop in stimulating his mind and sparking inside of him an ingenious desire to become a Poet and Author. Prof. Dieujuste's interest in writing sparked at the early age. All his life he has felt this uncontrollable urge to write. Not necessarily to "be a writer" but just to write to put things into words on paper. He decided to make this a career, every morning he sat down, do some stream-of-consciousness writing in an old notebook, and try to piece together a short personal essay. He has published three books: A Toute les Filles,^[1] An Act of Will,^[2] and Elasticity of Love,^[3] a poetry book to remind lovers of the good all days. However, when it comes to trying to write something of substance, he totally draw a blank. All of his ideas (however few they are) seem really contrived and dull. He can come up with a good start for a story but not an ending. It's not motivation that's his problem, it's inspiration. Everything he has written creatively has been inspired by things people have said to me in conversation..

Abner's writing breakthrough was as a part of his childhood, (An Act of Will), which released in December 2009. It selling fairly well in the US and around the world.^[4][5]

Career

Before the inception of Dieujuste's professional writing career he completed many travel abroad poetry contest,^[6] and many cultural exchange program in order to better acquaint him with the industry. Dieujuste learned how to analyze and research trends, develop new materials and techniques, and among other things. Mr. Dieujuste’s traveling abroad coupled with his educational background in Business Management and Project Management provided him with invaluable skills needed to take him to the next step in his journey of becoming a writer. Mr. Dieujuste hopes his unique perspective will captivate the young people all over the world. With each poem, he strives to present an aura of feminine aesthetic, romanticism, construction and classical interest. Infused in every poem by Abner Dieujuste is a palette of vibrant love and a splash of sensuality. He aims to combine the use of luxurious and affluent technique to promote romance, confidence, elegance and optimism to every young man and woman.
