Abhinav Kohli is an Indian TV actor. He was born in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir on 6 June 1981. He married actress Shweta Tiwari on 13 July 2013.

Education

Abhinav Kohli did Engineering in Electronics and Communication from R.V. College of Engineering Bangalore. He was placed on campus in Omam Consultants. His job profile was IT recruiting. He worked there for eight months.

Actor

He won India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj or Zee Cine Star Ki Khoj from Bangalore in 2004. He has worked in many T.V. serials including Sssh Phir Koi Hai,[1][2] CID, Mano ya na Mano, Gup Shup Coffee Shop, Choona Hai Aasman, Jaane Kya Baat Hui,[3] Sarvggun Sampanna[4] and Kairi — Rishta Khatta Meetha.[5]

Producer

Now, he runs two production houses 'Palak and Punya Entertainment Pvt. Ltd'[6][7] and Mildly Classic.

Palak Punya Entertainment started by producing a play titled Ab Akbar Banaayega Mughal-E-Azam[8] after that it produced a T. V. Commercial for LG Hing (Asafoetida). Palak Punya has recently produced Print Ad Shoots for DJN Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. (Ranchi) and Camouflaage Fashions (Mumbai).

Mildly Classic is a new venture of Abhinav Kohli with its first production being a theatre play titled 'Gardish Mein Taare'. The play stars Sonali Kulkarni and Arif Zakaria. The play is currently running in Theaters in Mumbai.

His father Wg Cdr S. R. Kohli (Retd.) and mother Dr. Poonam S. Kohli (PhD) run a publishing house 'Punya Publishing Pvt. Ltd'.[9] Abhinav is also a director in Punya Publishing.[10] He looks after the Sales in the company.

Dr. Poonam S. Kohli has been close to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam since the days of his being the President of India. Punya Publishing has published two books of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The first one was a book of his poems 'The Luminous Sparks'[11] and the latest is a book to inspire people to achieve great goals in life titled 'You Are Unique'.[12]

Personal life

Abhinav and Shweta fell in love with each other while shooting for the TV series Jaane Kya Baat Hui. After a four-and-a-half-years relation,they got married on the 13th of July 2013.[13][14][15][16][17]
