Abdu Katuntu

Abdu Katuntu is a Ugandan Politician, Lawyer and former member of the Pan-African Parliament from Uganda[1] and the Rapporteur of the Committee on Justice and Human Rights. He is a member of Forum for Democratic Change party and Shadow Attorney General in the Parliament of Uganda. He is also the current member of parliament for Bugweri County, Iganga District.

He lost his parliamentary seat in the 2006 Ugandan general election. and successfully challenged the result of that Parliamentary election he had lost, citing widespread malpractices in the exercise & thereby won back his sit in Parliament the following year in a subsequent bye-election.

In the 2011 general elections, he was re-elected for another term in Parliament & he's one of the smart brains behind the increasingly glowing 9th Parliament.
