A Shot in the Arm
"A Shot in the Arm" is a 1999 single by the American band Wilco from their album Summerteeth. The phrase "a shot in the arm" means "a stimulus"; originally this meant a stimulus from the injection of narcotic or medicinal drugs (a "shot" is US slang for an injection).
