A Place to Call Home (novel)

A Place To Call Home is a romance novel by Deborah Smith published in 1997. The novel revolves around a female character living in a culturally and economically wealthy family in the Southern United States. It reached number 28 in the New York Times best-seller list for paperbacks in 1998.[1]

The novel is about a love story that blossomed in the childhood and departing after facing various hurdles and reveals the destiny. The small and cute girl, Claire from the Malony family, got some soft-corner towards Roanie, a retired and cruel military man's son. Roanie got to stay in Claire's house which improves the understanding between those two. but unfortunately when Claire chose a place to call her home, the twist interfered in the smoothly going story and caused the disastrous consequences.
