"A Leaf in the Wind" is the second episode of the Nickelodeon series The Legend of Korra. It was aired on April 14, 2012.[1]
Plot
Living with her instructor Tenzin on Air Temple Island, Korra is frustrated with her inability to master airbending. Her attention is drawn to Republic City's famous pro-bending Arena, where she visits against Tenzin's wishes. There she befriends two brothers, Mako and Bolin, who compete in professional bending matches on the "Fire Ferrets" pro-bending team. Drawn to pro-bending's dynamic fighting style, she secretly becomes their teammate and competes in a match. Due to her inexperience she initially suffers, but by the use of air-bending movements wins the match. Her win impresses Tenzin, who allows her to remain on the team.[2]
