A Girl Can Mack is 3LW's second album. It is their follow-up to 3LW, their first release. With the follow-up to their platinum self-titled debut, the group attempted to shed their youthful image and craft a mature look. The album combines both ballads and upbeat songs, with several serving as a declaration of equality in romantic relationships. The album was considered at lot more "racier" and sexier than their last album.
3LW to "2LW"
Just before the release date of this album, Naturi Naughton left the group due to many heated arguments. The girl group lost some fans and dealt a blow of negative publicity for it as well. Despite mostly decent reviews for the album, it debuted at number 15 and as of March 2003, had sold just 176,000 copies.[1]
