A Celebration of Guilt is the debut album released by death metal band Arsis. The album was released March 30, 2004 in North America by indie record label Willowtip Records and internationally on July 11, 2005 via Earache Records. Following its release, it was met with very favorable reviews by online publications such as Metal Review,[2] Lambgoat,[3] and Wrekage,[4] and landed at Number 49 on The Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the Decade list by Decibel Magazine[5] and Number 50 on The Top 100 Death Metal Albums of All Time list, also by Decibel Magazine.[6] On August 9, 2011, Willowtip released a remastered version of A Celebration of Guilt, which included two b-sides.
