AEGON Religare Life Insurance is a joint venture between AEGON, Religare and Bennett, Coleman & company . AEGON Religare Life Insurance offers a range of insurance products for financial planning and life insurance in India.[2] ARLI launched its operations in July, 2008.[3] Aegon Religare Life Insurance(ARLI) offers a complete product suite consisting of Term Pans, Health Plans, Savings Plans, Child Plans and Unit-linked plans.[4]

Health Insurance

ULIPs
ULIPs or Unit Linked Plans offers both Life Insurance and market linked investments. The choices of plans offered are[7]

Operations
AEGON Religare employs more than 1500 employees, over 6,500 Life Advisors or financial advisors, with 70 branches across the country.[11]
Distribution
AEGON Religare's Online Insurance Channel reaches 172 cities. A number of products, including AEGON ReligareiTerm, AEGON ReligareiMaximize, AEGON ReligareiHealth and AEGON ReligareiGuarantee were launched to offer a complete product suite to the online customer.
AEGON Religare has a balanced distribution network through Bancassurance, Direct Sales Force and online products. This includes a direct sales force of more than 6,500 financial planning advisers, in 70 branches across the country and multiple bancassurance partnerships with private sector banks, co-operatives and regional rural banks. Through its distribution setup and partnerships, AEGON Religare reaches customers in over 1000 towns and cities across India.[12][13]
AEGON Religare Wonder Cook
ARLI launched a unique campaign in February and March, where customers and non-customers got a chance to showcase their talent by sending in recipes that were shortlisted, and the final shortlisted contestants got to be a part of a cooking competition, assisted and judged by Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. ARLI engaged with the customers’ spouses on the theme of a culinary competition.
ARLI received more than 2,000 recipes across India as a response from its customers, . Out of all the entries, top 50 recipes were shortlisted for the Wonder Cook Recipe Book, of which, 10 recipes were shortlisted by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor for participation in the Wonder Cook Grand Finale - a cook-off competition which was held on 26 April 2014, at Ramada Plaza, Mumbai - to contest for the title of AEGON Religare Wonder Cook. The contest was adjudged by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor who decided the top 3 winners.
The contestants were encouraged by their friends and family members as they put their culinary skills to display, of course with some helping tips from the Celebrity Chef himself. After an hour of cooking and frenzied activity to put up the final dish with the garnish, each contestant went on to the stage one-by-one to let Sanjeev Kapoor taste their creation. After the tasting session and feedback, Sanjeev Kapoor announced the 3 winners and appreciated the efforts of the other 7.[14]
