ADRA-UK is the UK office of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency network, though it works independently and is governed by its own board and constitution. It was established in 1984 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.[3] Its goal "is to help people to help themselves." ADRA-UK raises funds in the UK that are utilised for multi-year development programmes around the world, where possible through co-financing with governmental donors.[4]
