ACMEC
Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust (ACMEC) is a charitable organization in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1978 in Melmaruvathur by Bangaru Adigalar; it funds colleges and a hospital[1][2][3] as well as a variety of other local services.
Controversies
In July 2010, the Indian Income Tax department recovered INR 13 crore of unaccounted money from the offices of the trust run by Bangaru Adigalar's family in Melmaruvathur and the engineering and medical colleges.[4][5]
