AA Southside District
The AA Southside District is one of the four districts of AA Region I of the Virginia High School League which typically includes schools in the area known as Southside Virginia, located south of the Greater Richmond Region to the Virginia-North Carolina border.
The schools in the Southside District compete with the schools in the AA Battlefield District and the AA Bay Rivers District.
The AA Southside District will be dissolved for the 2013-2014 school year. Park View (Group 3A), Southampton (Group 3A), Brunswick (Group 2A), and Greensville (Group 2A) will be assigned to the A Tri-Rivers District while Prince Edward (Group 2A) will be assigned to the A James River District.
