Motorway A4 (Serbian: Аутопут А4) will span for approximately 109 kilometers (68 mi) in Serbia. It begins at Nish, at the junction with A1 motorway and runs eastward, to the border crossing with Bulgaria, at the Gradina–Kalotina checkpoint. The motorway is part of the Pan-European corridor X. Only 17 kilometers (11 mi) are in service, and all of the remaining sections are under construction.[1] It is planned to be connected with the Bulgarian Kalotina motorway, that will run to Sofia.
