The origins of football in Viterbo go back to 1909 when was founded A.S. Viterbese Calcio that was dissolved in 2013.
A.D.C. Viterbese Castrense
The club was founded in 2013 when the President Piero Camilli of A.D.C. Castrense moved the sport title of the club from Grotte di Castro to Viterbo which was refounded with the current name. The club restarted from Eccellenza Lazio was promoted to Serie D in the 2013-14 season.[1]
