A&P Family Mart, sometimes referred to simply as Family Mart or Family Mart Sav-A-Center, was a Clearwater, Florida based[1] chain of full service supermarkets that existed in the Southern United States from the 1970s through the 1990s. The last Family Mart location closed in 1999.[2]

The first Family Mart was opened by the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company as The Family Mart in Greenville, South Carolina in 1977.[3] The Family Mart Chain consisted of mostly 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) to 55,000 square feet (5,100 m2) stores, and were among the first in the A&P family of supermarkets to possess both full-service supermarket and pharmacy combinations.[4]

The chains went defunct in 1999 as A&P closed its southeast divisions. In the 1980s and 1990s most of the stores received a green and white paint motif that A&P also used in its A&P and Super Fresh locations. Previously the store's colors were orange and white.[5]
