The Eighty-ninth Minnesota Legislature is the current legislature of the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is composed of the Minnesota Senate and the Minnesota House of Representatives, based on the results of the 2012 Senate elections and the 2014 House elections. The seats were apportioned based on the 2010 United States Census. It first convened in Saint Paul, Minnesota on January 6, 2015 and will end on January 2, 2017. It will end its regular session in 2015 no later than May 18.
