8336 Šafařík
8336 Šafařík is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1989.1383103 days (5.45 years).[1]
The asteroid was discovered on September 27, 1984 by Antonín Mrkos at Kleť Observatory. It is named in memory of Vojtěch Šafařík, a Czech 19th century chemist and astronomer and his wife and co-worker Paulína Šafaříková, who was interested in the history and popularization of astronomy. The name was suggested by Jana Tichá and Miloš Tichý.
