The 71st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade^[1] is a unit of the Texas Army National Guard located at 4255 IH 35 North, San Antonio, TX 78219.

The formation traces its history to the 71st Infantry Brigade of the 36th Division in World War I, when it had the 141st and 142nd Infantry Regiments assigned. During the Cold War the 71st Airborne Brigade was active within the TX ARNG.
