5 Ursae Minoris is a star in the constellation Ursa Minor. Its apparent magnitude is 4.25. Located approximately 110 parsecs (360 ly) distant, the primary is a red giant of spectral type K4III,[1] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and is expanding.
