The 52nd Wisconsin Infantry Regiment served in the Union Army between April and June 28th, 1865, during the American Civil War.
Service
The regiment was organized at Madison, Wisconsin and mustered in during April, 1865. Right away it was ordered to St. Louis, Missouri. After St. Louis, it then went to Holden, Missouri, to guard workmen on the Pacific Railroad until June 21st. The regiment was mustered out on June 28th, 1865. During its service the regiment lost nine men to disease.[1]
