49 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation for a star in the northern constellation of Aries. Its apparent magnitude is 5.91 and is located at a distance of approximately 210 light-years (64 parsecs) distant from Earth. 49 Arietis is classified as an Am,[3] or chemically peculiar star, which means the spectrum displays abnormal abundances of certain heavier elements.
