4843 Mégantic
4843 Mégantic is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1982.1094798 days (5.43 years).[1] It has a diameter of about 26.02 kilometres (16 mi) from observations with the IRAS infrared space telescope during the 1980s.[1]
The asteroid was discovered on February 28, 1990.
It is named for Mont Mégantic Observatory, which opened in 1978 in Canada.[2]
