    4827 Dares (1988 QE) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on August 17, 1988 by Shoemaker, C. S. at Palomar.

    Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1994 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 18.995 ± 0.028 hours with a brightness variation of 0.24 ± 0.02 magnitude.[1]
