47 Ophiuchi (47 Oph) is a star in the constellation Serpens.[2] Its apparent magnitude is 6.22. While SIMBAD identifies the designation 47 Ophiuchi as corresponding to HR 6493, in reality the designation refers to HR 6496.[2]
