    4085 Weir (1985 JR) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on May 13, 1985 by C. S. Shoemaker at Palomar Observatory.

    Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2006 show a rotation period of 14.602 ± 0.005 hours with a brightness variation of 0.18 ± 0.02 magnitude.[1]
