3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment (3/14) is a reserve artillery battalion comprising four firing batteries and a headquarters battery. The battalion is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and its primary weapon system is the M777 howitzer with a maximum effective range of 30 km. They fall under the command of the 14th Marine Regiment and the 4th Marine Division.

History
Mike Battery out of Chattanooga, Tennessee served in Fallujah, Iraq in late 2004 during Operation Phantom Fury and previously deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. They are attached to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and are working in the vicinity of Ar Rutbah.[1] Formerly they were part of 4th Battalion 14th Marines In 2007, the unit sufferend one casualty Cpl Dustin J. Lee
