3782 Celle

3782 Celle is a main belt asteroid. It was discovered by Poul Jensen from Brorfelde Observatory, Denmark and named after the German town of Celle.

Celle measures 6 km in diameter, and is a V-type asteroid, which means that it may be a fragment of the asteroid 4 Vesta.

On 3 May 2003, astronomers at the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope announced the discovery of a small moon orbiting Celle. The moon is believed to measure 2.5 km in diameter, and to orbit Celle at a distance of about 30 km.
