The 36th Gawad Urian Awards or Ika-36 na Gawad Urian was held on June 18, 2013, at the NBC Tent in Taguig City. They honored the best Filipino films for the year 2012.[1]

Nominations were announced on May 7, 2013, in a press conference. Surprisingly, no single mainstream movie included in the nominations this year, the Manunuri solely gave their nods to independent films [2] Alessandra de Rossi was the most nominated performer with 3 nominations; 2 Best Supporting actress and 1 Best Actress.

Ang paglalakbay ng mga bituin sa gabing madilim was a surprised winner of the best film, besting early favorites such as Bwakaw and Thy Womb[3] The Natatanging Gawad Urian was given to Mila del Sol
