(33529) Henden is a Main Belt asteroid discovered on 19 April 1999 by C. W. Juels at Fountain Hills.
The Minor Planet named on 18 September 2005, honors photometrist Dr. Arne Henden, currently the Director of the American Association of Variable Star Observers.
The Minor Planet Center citation reads:
